Located as it is immediately next to Junction 46 of the M1, Thorpe Park is ideally located for uncongested access to the local, regional and national road networks.
Two miles to the north the A1(M) provides direct access from the north east and Scotland whilst the M1 itself leads directly south through the Midlands to Birmingham, London and The South. With Junction 29 of the transpennine M62 only 8 miles to the south Thorpe Park also benefits from coast to coast access.
Following extensive improvements to Junction 46 a second direct access from the M1 into Thorpe Park was opened in May 2004 along with sign posting to clearly lead visitors to and from their destinations.
For more local journeys the A63, Selby Road and the A64, York Road provide a speedy direct link to Leeds City Centre whilst using the A6110 Outer Ring Road access can be taken throughout the whole of North Leeds.
