Liftshare.com provide a national lift matching facility which now has over 230,000 members and over 1,000,000 journeys registered. The scheme is free for individuals to join and allows it members to search for car sharing companions for any journey they are making, whether it be for work or leisure activities.
Through teaming up with liftshare.com, Thorpe Park have developed a private car share scheme, which allows its members to not only search the national and regional databases of car sharers, but also a private database only containing individuals who also work at Thorpe Park. This way you know that you are only searching for car sharing companions who also work at the park, resulting in a higher chance that somebody’s travel patterns match your own.
